Lee High School is a Houston high school legacy. Founded in 1962, Lee is the alma mater of a large and dynamic group of citizens across our city, state, and country. While the "Lee today" is drastically different from the Robert E. Lee that began years ago, our commitment to excellence hasn't waivered. Our hope is that all Lee alumni, regardless of graduation year, encounter success in their own lives and contribute to the future success of generations to come.

Are you interested in supporting the Lee Next Step Fund? Here are key ways you can be a part of our mission:

1.) Make a tax-deductible donation via check or credit card (secure on-line payment available here!). Your pledge will ensure that more Lee students gain access to college- and career- preparatory programs, and will help them be that much more prepared for their next step of a successful future.

2.) Volunteer:

  • Help students during the FLO application process. For many students, applying to a FLO involves their first experience of filling out an application or engaging in a formal interview.   • Be a part of our Transportation Team. Transportation to and from FLO locations that occur in the city of Houston is a critical resource. Many Lee students do not have ready access to transportation to local universities, companies, or non-profit organizations for their attendance at mandatory program events. As a transportation team volunteer, the time you spend helping students arrive at an important event can make a huge difference (Liability release forms are provided by all student participants.) 3.) Consider joining our Board. Do you have experience in philanthropy, law, social entrepreneurship, community advocacy, or other areas that may benefit the Lee Next Step Fund? Are you passionate about helping low-income students gain access to the educational experiences that will help them succeed in life? We'd love to hear from you.
